The day before I was at 135.6 and I had a cheat day yesterday. I believe by tomorrow, I will be back down to 135lbs. I'm going to focus and have a low carb day! I'm pretty sure it's just water weight. I need to log in MFP and work on losing the rest of the weight.

Week 4

January was a terrible month. I did a horrible job. I gained weight. I tried to follow the clean belly diet and I ended up bingeing big time. No more dieting for me. I'm going back to listening to my own body and focusing on cleaning up my diet. I'm going to carb cycle and have one cheat day which will be on Sunday. I'm going to check in on Saturday mornings. Sunday will be my High Carb cheat day. Monday will be my day for a fresh start. I need to feel slightly hungry at all times to lose weight. I have to get serious about it.

New Year 2018

This is going to be the best year yet, I say this every year but I'm going to final figure out this shoulder and neck issue. I feel like it's ruining my life. I really want to run a half marathon again.

Sadly, I gained all of the weight back on this Fall. I was at my leanest at 125lbs but I'm back up 135lbs.

I made a mistake of over excising and not eating enough...which lead to binge. I feel like I have spent a lot of time learning about this topic. I'm going back to listening to my body. I'm going back to tracking MFP and weighing out my food.

I know for a fact, if I feel slightly hungry thru out the day that I will lose the weight. I hate over eating and leaves me feeling gross.

No sugar.....it messes with my blood sugar levels.

It was nice to be full of food and no bingeing at all this week. I feel like if I follow the new cycle, I will start to lose the weight. I want to lose one pound a week.

Post Vacation

Starting Over

I don't know what's going on with my body but I believe that I was over exercising and it was causing me to gain weight. I went on vacation for two weeks and no exercising except for walking and I dropped 5lbs. I gained 5lbs over the summer due to running and being so hungry and eating too much food. I willn't make that mistake again.

Before leaving for vacation:

I weighed 130.9lbs

two weeks later

I weigh now 127.4lbs
21.5% body fat

I'm no longer tracking my food. I'm going to listen to my body and watch my body fat scale.

I'm trying to get down to 20% body fat

no working out until I get my body fat down.

I'm hoping to get down to 125lbs.

21.5% body fat

Scalloped Potatoes

Scalloped Potatoes
Katie (Katiedid) from Recipezaar
4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash cayenne pepper
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated cheese, to sprinkle on top
paprika
In a small sauce pan, melt butter and blend in flour. Let sit for a minute. Add all of cold milk, stirring with a whisk. Season with salt and cayenne. Cook sauce on low until smooth and boiling, stirring occasionally with a whisk. Reduce heat and stir in cheese. Place a half of the sliced potatoes in a lightly greased one quart casserole dish. Pour half of cheese sauce over potatoes. Repeat with second layer of potatoes and cheese sauce. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Top with some paprika for color. Bake uncovered for about 1 hour at 350F.
