No Sugar Diet!

It's working, the fat is finally melting off my body! I have been trying my hardest to lose the last bit of baby weight with no luck at all. I was literally killing myself in the gym and eating healthy and nothing was working. I spent a lot of time reading different blogs and watching lots of videos. No matter what I did, nothing was working. Well, I have come to realize that I'm older and what worked in the past isn't working anymore. I'm almost positive that I'm very much carb sensitive. I did the clean eating challenge and only lost like 2 lbs in 40 days. I still looked fat. Well, I decided to give Keto a try again and the fat is melting right off me. I couldn't be happier with my results. I'm working out less, but eating less as well which equals more time to do other things. I still have about 10 more pounds of fat to lose. I discovered that I need to eat around 1200-1400 calories and not a calorie more. I need to stay focus and let my body burn my own fat for fuel. Eating fat doesn't make you fat. Eating sugar will make you fat! I'm getting closer....to reaching my first goal of 132lbs. After that goal is reached, any weight loss after that will be a bonus but I really want to get down to 125lbs.

LCHC UPDATE

Update: Clean Eating got me no where, I realized that I have a problem with my blood sugars. I decided to go back to LCHC diet and the weight is starting to come off. I dropped closed to 3 pounds on my first week. I haven't worn this skirt in almost 4 years. I could finally get it on. I still need to loss another ten pounds in order to reach my goal. I'm older and my body is changing. I'm now, never hungry and I have to much energy. It's always important to listen to your body and not what some experts, only you know your body not someone else! I do miss fruit but a few berries seem to be helping.

Going Back To LCHP diet

I tried eating clean for the past 6 weeks, I still look the exact same. The scale hasn't change and neither has my measurements. I'm starting to think that something isn't right with my body. I did Keto diet back in October and I looked "HOT". I decided to stop doing that diet because I ran into some roadblocks and I freaked out. I ended up bruising really bad which I think my big problem was not getting enough protein. So, I'm going back to Keto diet and see how it goes. If the weight comes right off than I know my answer. I was border line GD with my last pregnancy and I think my body is just older and doesn't process sugar and carbs the same way anymore. I really enjoyed eating clean but no amount of cardio or working out was causing me to lose fat or gain muscle. I could barely see any changes, I did feel better but it's not enough. I still need to lose the last ten pounds. I still don't want to be super skinny. I have been working on this since Jan. I do feel stronger but I'm not losing any weight at all. I did finish my half marathon, I felt strong but I didn't lose any weight from it. I usually slim down when I'm running, which is another red flag that something isn't right. So, I'm going to eat as few carbs as possible and see what will happened. I predict that I will drop 3-4 pounds this week alone. I just need to stay strong.

Clean Eating-Update!

This is the year 2016, I'm going to finally get ripped and get down on my body fat. I haven't had any luck in losing the last bit of baby fat. I have increase my calories and decreased my calories. Nothing was working. I have realized that if I restrict too much on my calories, I would end up bingeing big time on junk food. I would be prefect for a couple of days and go crazy over the weekends. I found a program called Simple Clean Eats. I'm finally figuring it out. I tried to go on the Lean program but I need more calories. Too low for my active lifestyle. So, I did the Build and Burn program. I started to gain too much weight but my workouts were awesome. I felt so strong but I still had a ton of fat on my body. So, I decided after much thought and prayer that I need to do something in the middle of Lean and Build program. I'm sticking around 1800 calories. I'm down 5 pounds so far this week. I was up 144pounds but this morning I stepped on the scale and I'm down 138lbs. My mine goal is 132lbs which is my pre-pregnancy weight from Leilani. I'm learning to trust my body. This is big one. I stopped listening to my body. Just following some random weight loss program, just doesn't work in the long run. Here's what I learned and applying it in my life. The weight is dropping off. I really feel that by the end of April, I should be at my goal weight.
